Corydon Public Library Fund

Harrison County genealogists are pleased that the Corydon Public Library has a new home and that the old Carnegie Library is becoming predominantly an Historical and Genelogical Library. Anticipating this development four years ago a Fund for Genealogy and History of Harrison County was established to serve as an endowment, the income of which is to be devoted exclusively to the purchase of historical and genealogical research material about Harrison County. The Fund has now reached $l3,000 and will be permitted to accumulate and grow until it reaches $20,000. At that point the income will begin to be used for acquisitions, but the principle will not be spent. At the same time, it is hoped that Harrison County devotees will continue to donate to the Fund so that the annual income will not only persist but increase.

If you wish to donate to the Fund send a check to the

Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, earmarked to the "Fund for Genealogy and History of Harrison County."
