David BROWN came to Harrison county in the late 1700's to early 1800's. The earliest date I have of him in Harrison County is 1817 on the list of Voters of an Election Held in the courthouse in Corydon on the 18 Oct 1817 to Elect one Lieut Collonel & one Major to Command the fifth Redgement Indiana Militia. He first married Abigail SPIVEY 30 Sept 1811 in Harrison County, Indiana. To this union he had the following chilren.
