Current Service Charges
This area lists each recurring monthly charge posted to your account for a subscribed service network such as telephone service. This section identifies each charge and shows effective dates, number of units chards for, the cost per unit, and the total cost. This area may be followed by a section for Other Charges and Credits, which displays any non-recurring charges and credits posted to your account during this billing cycle. It includes a description of each charge or credit and the amount. Any associated Taxes, Surcharges & Fees will also be displayed.
Carrier Selection
This area is reserved for display of information on your chosen interstate (Interlata) long distance carrier and local (Intralata) long distance carrier.
Current Long Distance Charges
This section shows all the toll calls placed during the current billing cycle. In addition to details for each toll call, it identifies calls that qualified for discount plans by marking them with a special symbol which varies depending on the plan and carrier. It also shows the total amount of any discount. You may have seperate sections or pages of toll calls for calls handled by different long distance carriers. Subtotals are provided for each category of toll calls.
Service Summary
For each service subscribed to, a billing summary is presented subtotaling charges for the service. This sample features two subscribed services, telephone and internet. For telephone service, monthly charges, other charges and credits and taxes, surcharges & fees are combined into the service summary subtotal. For internet service, monthly charges and other charges and credits are combined into the service summary subtotal. Your bill might feature more services and service summaries, such as cable television. If your account features multiple subscribers, a customer summary for each subscriber may also be presented. The customer summary lists the charges for each service subscribed to and the total charges for the month for the subscriber.
